Religion?

You call yourself a spiritual/religious person yet the choices you make are pure evil. You dwell in breaking others spirits because misery loves company. But I won’t let you get the best of me. My role in life was chosen for me, it is my bigger purpose and I have much responsibility that goes along with it. I have a gift. My truth and honesty moves people and the bigger picture means I can move mountains. I know my purpose in life is huge. I know my role is a stepping-stone for what’s to come and in the big scheme of things is a true blessing. I’m not hungry for fame, connection yes but fame no.
I’ve learned many lessons through self-perseverance. I know that the work on ourselves is one of the most important jobs we have. We owe it to ourselves. Whatever we leave not fixed becomes poison in our lives and then becomes the person that we are. Our choices create our character. Who do you want to be?
Flaws become our differences. The way we embrace them is what confidence becomes. When we live from a rotten core, too blind to see the light of day, we isolate ourselves from everything real, normal, and beautiful life has to offer. Not one person in this world is “perfect”. I may feel broken from time to time but I always do my best. When others feel broken I do my best to have compassion and when it calls for it, empathy.
Nobody’s actions in life are personal. Everything is based from our own perceptions. We create our own realities. We hold on to situations and judge them from what it makes us feel. There are sad people in this world. You can’t save them, only they can save themselves. But we can use the situations and feelings they stir in us to propel us to a better future.
I came to the conclusion that love and compassion is my religion a couple of years ago. As I see strong believers in a faith around me make less then what I perceive as moral choices, I grow further and further away from what truth I once tried to understand in them. The only control we have in life is control over ourselves and the only way to change people is to lead by example. To be the example of happiness you must stand your ground and always act on your truth and honesty.
The people around us are the key to knowledge. By being the observers in our own lives we can take lessons home with us every night. Some people lead by a good example others lead by negative choice driven by manipulation, greed and ego. By being aware of all that goes on in our own worlds we have the choice to create our own life. We create our own set of beliefs through our own religion. Does it make a difference what religion we follow? Isn’t the basic idea of religion a guideline to leading a happy life? Then why do people of faith look down upon people that ask questions? I understand believing in something much bigger then we are but in what way does a person of lesser understanding for the bible become unworthy?

BUT
I can almost guarantee that alot of people put their faith in YOU as a person. Looking to you for the light....for guidance. But truth is, it is your act of kindness that breaks you apart from the rest and forms a cushion of comforting life......
Religion I feel sometimes is a scare tactic. WE are the religion, made up of different cultures, we learn and teach eachother HAPPINESS.....this is the way of living.
If counting beads or reading from the bible and saying prayers is your comfort than that is ok. But it is NOT everyones religion. I hate how people are made to feel they need to conform to a certain type........if you dont. Your evil.......but through giving, and sharing.....through being there for others.......through being YOU......you create a higher level of faith....one no one can break down.

I had a dream not long ago....I couldnt move, and I couldnt see.....I tried so hard to wake up, to move or drop something to get help.....BUT.....I couldnt......

religion has been a big topic for so many years and will be for many more years. religion made/makes peolple fight for no reason. people fight and judge other religions or people who don't follow any religion. but they forget the true meaning! which is believe! believe in whatever you want if it makes you happy and leads you to wherever you wanna go! and i hate when people ask me "do you believe in god?" and i say no, means automateclly i don't believe in anything 'cause this is not true. i'm a big believer in myself and that doesn't mean i'm selfish! we should never forget to respect other people's believes 'cause we have one thing in common WE BELIEVE

Everybody is intitle of their own beliefs , i believe in God , and religious in my openion is to help you know how to treat others and maybe give you some answers, judging a person by it's religion is wrong, how the person is on the inside is what counts...
last 2/3 years were really tough,the worst years in the history of Iraq , so-called religious men who they think they have powers by threatening people in so many difeerent horrible ways,they've effected alot of people by forcing them to act and believe in they way they wanted to,but it didn't effect me at all..i stayed the way i am,proud i did.
i guess being religious is not by saying it,its by acting in a way to try to make the world a better place..

I don't believe in any religion,but i believe in universe.
religions always make things more complex.
Macrocosm has a formula; religions' doctrines just part of the formula.
religions persuade people to do more charity things, because we need to comply with the formula.....
religions and universe are closely linked, but religions are short of objectivity ...that's why i only believe in universe.
i won't infringe morality and legislation because they are the most basic part of the formula. We have to make the universe be in concordance.

I'm a very religious person!! 4 me God is important in a human being, coz if someone doesn't believe in God, that person won't find happiness!! Who I wanna be?? I just wann be myself, that's all ... I won't change anything of my life ... I just wanna be me!! The religions we follow doesn't matter at all coz what matters is what we do .. the right things for ouselves and the people we love, we might be wrong some times but that's life ... we learn from our mistakes!! If we have God in our hearts, we can find happiness!! The bible is not unworthy for anyone, we all can read it ... what matters is to undertand it and learn from it and put what is there in our lifes ... that's all!! Religion.. Almost everybody sees people which love each other..Nice people full of light. But sometimes reality isnt like this. There are so many people who can be bad because of religion. Why do people kill because of religion? Everybody deserve to believe what he want to do. I believe that people will understand that religion is about love, no about hated..
I think so many people have own religion. I am a part of them. I always say that when you want something it is just about you. You always can ask your friends or somebody to help you but it is still about you. God gave us a chance to live, to learn, to love....but also to hate.. But everything happens for a reason and he knew why he does it.. He did that also for the reason. How you said, nobody wasnt perfect and I think God isnt as well.. I know so many people who dont believe in God but I cant imagine it. My father doesnt believe too. But my mom always told him "If you feel the worst, you will say "Please God, help me!" And i agree. People need to believe in something when they havent a hope. People need to believe somebody when they havent anybody. I think that God is here for finding ourself. I think he can´t give us any things which we want, but he can give us hope to continue, to do it again. So religion is just about us, about living.. God is just a part of it.
