crushed beauty

this is a poem so beautifully written i had to share it. Thank you Crushed Beauty:
Poem: Painting My Own World
Like a paintbrush to a canvas, I paint my own world
Hills carry on into the distance, closed flowers become unfurled
My eyes meet a pink sky merging with clouds made of candy floss
Tomorrow I’ll paint the sky purple and below it a magical bridge to cross
As the creator of this land, I have much power, I’ve never felt so free
Looking onto the water, like Moses I can divide it like the Red Sea
Rollercoaster’s form behind me and Kaleidoscopes print reflections in a multi-colored pattern
Sitting dazed in a carousel peering into a microscope I’m convinced I see Saturn
The golden ring now appears to be larger because I’m no longer on the ground
Floating in the air passing shiny stars, the Earth disappears including the fairground
With the bristles full of color and the canvas complete, I’ve reached the end
But I take a new canvas to begin a new story, there’s another world to transcend
